1. Purpose & Code of Conduct
The MentorTechz Candidate Portal is an educational and project delivery environment created to simulate real-world software house operations. To ensure fair evaluation, professional development, and mutual respect, all enrolled candidates must adhere strictly to these Rules & Regulations.
Enrollment in the internship program and use of portal features constitutes your formal commitment to act honestly, maintain academic integrity, respect project deadlines, and interact professionally with mentors and staff.
2. The 10 Candidate Portal Rules
Rule 1: Maintain Accurate Profile Information
Candidates must provide accurate personal details, including full legal name, active email, valid phone number, and genuine educational background. Falsifying identity or educational status is grounds for immediate termination.
Rule 2: Keep Login Credentials Confidential
Account sharing is strictly forbidden. You are solely responsible for all activities conducted under your portal account. Never share passwords, setup links, or session tokens with other individuals.
Rule 3: Complete Assigned Projects Honestly
All submitted source code must be your own work or properly attributed open-source libraries. Demonstrating genuine technical understanding and problem-solving is the core requirement of the program.
Rule 4: Zero Tolerance for Plagiarism & Code Copying
Copying another candidate's code repository, submitting third-party solutions without original implementation, or misrepresenting cloned templates as original work will result in immediate disqualification and blacklisting.
Rule 5: Follow Project Instructions & Submission Deadlines
Every assigned task comes with designated requirements, difficulty levels, and due dates. Submissions must adhere to specified deliverables (GitHub repos, live URLs, documentation, file formats) and be submitted on or before deadlines.
Rule 6: Communicate Respectfully with Administration & Mentors
All communications across portal notes, submission comments, WhatsApp support channels, and mentor calls must remain courteous, professional, and constructive. Profanity, harassment, or insolence will not be tolerated.
Rule 7: Do Not Misuse Portal Features or Attempt Unauthorized Access
Do not attempt to probe, bypass authentication endpoints, spam API routes, scrape data, upload malicious scripts, or tamper with portal functionality. All requests are logged and monitored.
Rule 8: Submit Genuine Payment Confirmations
When requesting official documents, candidates must submit genuine bank or digital wallet transaction proofs. Submitting forged receipts, altered transaction IDs, or duplicate screenshots constitutes financial fraud.
Rule 9: Do Not Falsify Documents or Completion Records
Alteration, duplication, or digital tampering with issued MentorTechz certificates, reference numbers, or letters of recommendation is strictly prohibited and subject to legal referral and credential revocation.
Rule 10: Adhere to the Multi-Stage Review & Issuance Process
Candidates must understand and respect that project submission, milestone approval, internship sign-off, payment auditing, and document issuance operate as separate sequential stages requiring administrative verification.
3. The 6-Stage Internship & Document Issuance Lifecycle
To maintain absolute credibility and transparent standards, MentorTechz enforces an explicit multi-stage workflow. Candidates must note that completing a project does not automatically generate a certificate; each stage must be completed sequentially:
Stage 1: Project Assignment & Execution
The mentor assigns track-specific projects (e.g. Full-Stack Web, React Applications, REST APIs) with a specific deadline. The candidate builds the application, implements required features, and commits code to their GitHub repository.
Stage 2: Submission Review & Approval
The candidate submits repository links, live demos, and notes via the dashboard. The submission undergoes preliminary automated review followed by manual review by a senior engineer. The submission status is updated to APPROVED or marked as CHANGES_REQUESTED for revision.
Stage 3: Internship Completion Sign-Off
Once all assigned milestone deliverables are approved, the program administrator conducts a final portfolio review and officially records the candidate's internship as COMPLETED. The document request status transitions to ELIGIBLE.
Stage 4: Document Request & Payment Submission
Eligible candidates choose whether to request official, verifiable credentials (Certificate of Completion + personalized Letter of Recommendation). The candidate pays the confirmed document processing fee (PKR 500) via Easypaisa, JazzCash, or PayPal, and uploads their payment screenshot and transaction ID.
Stage 5: Administrative Payment Verification
The MentorTechz finance and administration team verifies the submitted transaction against merchant account ledgers. If valid, the request is marked PAYMENT_VERIFIED. If the proof is illegible or unconfirmed, it is rejected with a written explanation for re-submission.
Stage 6: Digital Document Generation & Issuance
The administrator generates high-resolution, verifiable PDF documents featuring official signatures, domain details, and unique tracking IDs (MT/CERT/... and MT/REC/...). Candidates can immediately view and download their official credentials from their dashboard.
4. Disciplinary Procedures & Consequences
Failure to comply with these Rules & Regulations will result in progressive disciplinary action proportional to the infraction:
- First Minor Infraction: Written administrative warning (e.g. for missed initial deadline or incomplete code comments) and a 48-hour extension window to remediate the deliverable.
- Repeated Delinquency: Downgrade of candidate performance ranking, disqualification from stipend consideration, or cancellation of the current project assignment.
- Serious Infraction (Plagiarism, Fraud, Harassment): Immediate expulsion from the MentorTechz Internship Program, permanent revocation of candidate portal login credentials, and invalidation of any pending or issued credentials.
