1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to MentorTechz ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding operational framework between you ("User", "Candidate", or "Visitor") and MentorTechz regarding your access to and use of the website at https://mentortechz.sbs, our candidate portal, our internship selection system, and all associated educational and digital services.
By accessing the website, submitting an internship or job application, setting up a candidate account, or participating in assigned projects, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue using our platform and portal immediately.
2. Eligibility & Candidate Portal Registration
Access to public areas of the MentorTechz website is open to all visitors. Participation in the MentorTechz Internship Program and access to the Candidate Portal requires meeting the following eligibility requirements:
- Minimum Age & Status: Candidates must be at least 16 years of age or currently enrolled in a recognized college, university, or equivalent technical education program.
- Account Creation: Candidate portal accounts are initiated following application review, direct invitation, or administrative onboarding. Credentials must be activated through secure, one-time setup tokens sent to the candidate's verified email address.
- Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (password and email). You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and to notify us immediately at softwarehousementor@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
- One Account Per Individual: Each candidate is permitted only one active candidate portal account. Creating duplicate or shared accounts is strictly prohibited.
3. Accuracy of Submitted Information
Candidates warrant that all information provided during registration, application, profile updates, and project submissions is true, accurate, current, and complete. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Full legal name, active contact email, and valid telephone/WhatsApp number;
- Educational institution, degree title, current semester, or graduation year;
- Technical skill claims, programming proficiencies, and prior experience;
- Links to external profiles (e.g., GitHub, LinkedIn, personal portfolio sites);
- Uploaded resumes, curriculum vitae (CVs), and code artifacts.
4. Internship Application & Selection Process
MentorTechz conducts rolling admissions for our project-based internship cohorts. The application and selection process operates under the following established stages:
Stage 1: Application
The candidate submits their details, tech stack, resume, and GitHub links via the website application form or official recruitment channels.
Stage 2: Technical Review
The administrative and engineering teams review submissions on a rolling basis. Shortlisted candidates receive an onboarding invitation.
Stage 3: Portal Activation
Accepted candidates set up their secure password and access their dedicated candidate dashboard for track assignments.
MentorTechz reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its sole discretion based on cohort capacity, technical readiness, and prerequisite requirements. An application submission does not guarantee selection or cohort placement.
5. Project Assignments, Deadlines & Submissions
The MentorTechz Internship is an intensive, practical learning program built on hands-on project execution. Candidates must comply with the following guidelines:
- Assigned Deliverables: Projects are assigned by administrative mentors with clearly defined specifications, recommended tech stacks, and difficulty tiers (Easy, Medium, Hard).
- Deadlines: Candidates are assigned specific completion timeframes (e.g., 7 days, 14 days, or custom milestone deadlines). Candidates must submit work on or before the due date. Legitimate extensions must be requested prior to the deadline.
- Submission Format: Submissions must be delivered through the candidate portal and may include GitHub repository URLs, deployed live demo links, written documentation, and uploaded project files or zip archives.
- Dual Evaluation: Project submissions undergo a thorough multi-step review, combining automated preliminary rubric analysis and mandatory manual review by MentorTechz senior engineers.
- Changes Requested: If a project fails to meet acceptance standards, the reviewer may mark the submission as "Changes Requested" with actionable feedback. Candidates are expected to revise and resubmit within the allotted timeframe.
6. Academic Honesty, Anti-Plagiarism & Code Authenticity
MentorTechz maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding plagiarism, code theft, and deceptive practices.
- Cloning, copying, or re-submitting another candidate's project repository or assignment code;
- Copying public tutorial repositories verbatim without substantial original architecture, implementation, and comprehension;
- Paying or hiring third parties to complete project assignments on your behalf;
- Misrepresenting AI-generated output as your own original understanding without demonstrating technical mastery;
- Tampering with timestamps, commit histories, or review metadata.
MentorTechz engineers utilize automated similarity scanners, dependency analysis, and oral code-defense reviews. Violations result in immediate project disqualification, removal from the internship program, and permanent account termination.
7. Certificates of Completion & Recommendation Letters
Digital certificates and personalized recommendation letters are earned credentials awarded exclusively to candidates who demonstrate satisfactory completion of all program requirements:
- Eligibility Criteria: All assigned milestone projects must receive formal administrative approval ("APPROVED" status), and the candidate's overall internship must be officially marked as complete by the administrator.
- Distinct Lifecycle Stages: Meeting project requirements, internship completion sign-off, payment verification, and document issuance are strictly independent operational phases. Passing a project does not automatically generate credentials.
- Unique Verifiable Reference IDs: Issued certificates carry a unique cryptographic reference number (e.g.,
MT/CERT/XXXXXX) and letters of recommendation carry a corresponding reference number (e.g.,MT/REC/XXXXXX), verifiable through MentorTechz administrative records. - Revocation: MentorTechz reserves the absolute right to revoke any certificate or letter of recommendation if it is subsequently discovered that the recipient obtained the credential through fraudulent submissions, plagiarism, or forged payment.
8. Fees, Payments & Verification
Applying for and participating in the MentorTechz Internship Program does not incur upfront tuition. Candidates work on real learning tracks free of initial charge. However, official digital document issuance (verifiable Certificate of Completion and Letter of Recommendation) requires a standardized processing and verification fee.
- Confirmed Document Fee: A one-time processing fee of PKR 500 applies for issuing the official, tamper-proof digital Certificate and personalized Letter of Recommendation.
- Supported Payment Methods: Payments are processed via Easypaisa, JazzCash, or PayPal to verified MentorTechz account titles, as displayed in the candidate portal.
- Manual Verification: Proof of payment (transaction screenshot and transaction reference ID) must be submitted via the candidate portal. All payments undergo manual administrative ledger verification prior to document release.
- Rejected Proofs: Submitting fake, altered, or duplicate transaction receipts is considered fraud and will result in immediate account termination.
For comprehensive details on payment methods, verification turnaround times, and disputes, please consult our dedicated Refund & Payment Policy.

MentorTechz respects the intellectual property rights of creators while maintaining necessary rights to proprietary brand assets, training curricula, and client project deliverables:

- Client Project Work: Any code, designs, or assets created as part of live client contracts or commercial assignments are the exclusive property of MentorTechz and its respective clients.
10. Suspension & Account Termination
MentorTechz reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any candidate portal account or access to our services, without prior notice or liability, under the following circumstances:
